A pleasant surprise it was when Katja Schulze, the content consultant of BFM89.9 business station dropped us an email early in June, requesting if we were interested to be interviewed. Going on radio? PATJENN FILM? Of course! Why not? That’s one of the best things that could happen to an SME like us:) We were thrilled, not to mention, nervous (at least for myself). We prepared a little and off we went to BU8 on the 16th June, morning. Meeting Katja and Freda Liu in person definitely made it a whole lot fun as they put us at ease by chatting with us a little prior to going on air. When the red light in the studio was on, we knew we were on air…from how PATJENN FILM came about and how Patrick and myself met through a common interest, Citizen Kane, to film industry as a whole, Freda chatted with us with great enthusiasm. It was amazing indeed for myself, as I studied Mass Communication back in my uni, major in TV and Radio, and the last time I was in a radio studio was when I did my practical training over at THR many many years ago! (I didn’t have a chance to go on air, live back then. So, it’s sort of a dream come true for me). Deja vu most definitely, nonetheless, exciting all together.
